• Husqvarna Motorcycles Made In Sweden - About 1988 and older

  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I have decided so sell some of my spares since I am not riding my WR250 much anymore. I am bringing to Mid-Ohio a fresh 250 Mag cylinder done by Tom Boyd. It is a 71mm bore. It comes with a new piston, rings wrist pin and clips. I bought it as a back-up and never used it. I am also bringing 4 gas tanks. Steel and aluminum. All have good paint. They look like fresh new paint not original paint. I went through a phase if I saw a gas tank...I bought it. These tanks look good to perfect. I am keeping my 75 WR 250 along with a CR tank and a WR tank. I aint done yet! I normally park in the off road camping area. I will try to post pics. Jeff

One tank has painted panels.. The yellow one appears to have been used after it was painted. I have not mounted any of these tanks. Jeff

I will be there Thursday morning. White Toyota Tacoma 2005 with white topper and white trailer. Jeff

I tried to post more pics, but it always says " error, file size too big". And I did shrink the file size smaller and smaller. If anyone is interested in any thing I have, I will hold items from the swap meet. Also, I have 1974 Yamaha TY 250 gas tank, cylinder and exhaust I am bringing. Jeff 615-330-7536

I just select the pics I want to post and then "email them". this drops the size right down then puts them in the email window. I just reselect them, kill the email and then paste them in a "small pics" directory for posting. Café husk only does 3 pics for each post post

photobucket has started demanding serious coin to host piccys and link to forums etc. ozvmx has a lot of blank spaces now and Mr zykeberg has been on the pointy end......

So I tried starting a new thread just to show-off my 75 WR 250. It still will not allow me to post a pic. I noticed that there is NOT a red arrow beside my post like there is on others. I can post a reply but not a picture. Jeff
