Just obtained an owner's manual for my 1980 Husqvarna 250WR. Just removed and cleaned carburetor and replaced the float needle. Ready to go back on but need to check the float level. The diagram and instructions in my manual say to turn carburetor upside down, move the float lever with your finger and when it is 17-19mm from carburetor flange the needle should just close the valve. So I should move the float arm down until the little tab presses down on the float needle and closes the valve completely then check that distance is 17-19mm from carb flange. Or check when tab on float arm is just making contact with the needle? Thanks
