• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

my cr125 is still too damn tall.....should I throw in the towel?(short guy problems)

Its too tall troy and i feel wants to cut the losses, would like a 125 for $1k about £800 not too bad but yeah crank bearings arnt that bad i like to see what else is wrong so i know how bad i got ripped off. Lol

I had the bike on craigslist forever at 1000$ bucks and 0 interest. i will never buy a husky again due to the $0 resale of them.
are you trying to sell it with that seat?
the bike is also highly customized...like it or not that scares away many people. i wouldnt say huskies have zero resale, maybe only certain years or styles. i get offers on 80s ones a few times every summer

Actually just needs the crank done. Top end is oem no porting, head had some pitting but it ran PERFECT. Then started it up one day and it was smoke city and acted like a vaccum leak really bad. It is sucking the gear oil in and burning it. Checked the flywheel and the crank knocks pretty bad when you move it.

I have fixed damn near everything else. I plan on selling the pipe, silencer, lectron carb, fast by ferraci clutch basket, back warp 9 rim. Then junk the rest. I am sure that stuff will add up to my asking price quickly. (hoping)

You still got std carb perhaps slap that back on and lower the price by a few hundred, you also should get some interest on parting it out, no fellow 125'ers on here that want a sexy clutch basket or a crank case??

Yea yall should pick it up :)

If it was running perfect the next time I would be able to take it out will be 4-6 months from now.

So idk. I hate parting it out I will end up with a bunch of undersireable parts on the shelf going to the scrapper.

do the center cases even use a gasket come on love give it up its two bearing and two seals all of which you could get at auto zone for $100 oh and a base gasket

Funny story I still have this stupid 125 i put it up for sale on craigslist for 1000$ and got 0 interest. I cannot believe it to be honest :O

my 511 has been fantastic on 17s and since its so low supermoto style i do great on the trails with it :D so there is that!
