  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

WOW !
Guys what can i say, the bike is great. The handling is like my 2010 X-light, very nimble and makes you smile. The throttle response is fantastic, i have never ride a bike that has NO boog like that. It just answears and goes !

The electric start is awesome, fires up imedietly.

The power came as a big suprice, it dont pulls like a motherf.... and leaves you with a monkey arms like the older bikes. The 449 Is smooth, very smooth and i cant wait to get it on a mx track !

The front suspension was good, and the rear took the hard bumps very vell and went straigt as an arrow. But maby my only proplem was the rear, it feels tall. But i think it will get better as the hours go on it and i fine tune the sag.

But wow, if you are interisting to buy one......do it !

Here´s a little vid, i just go this chest strap for my gopro. And as a beginner mistake i didnt get the angle of the videocorder right. Oh well

So basically a sexier, more nimble and maybe better Berg. Exactly what I had hoped when I heard about the motor and EFI. The cool frame, new look and interesting CS deal are extra cake. I LOVED how my X-light (2010 TXC250) handled so I know I will like this. Thank you, I'm stoked.

The vid...

I wrenched my neck trying to look up. he he he The bike looks SO sexy. Sounds like it pulls well. Not working real hard but hauling the mail. Cool place to ride, like the stuff at the end where it gets deeper and tigher. Bodywork looks tight, bike looks well thought out and put together. Can hardly wait to try it myself. Did it feel slim or wide?

Thanks again.
