  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc My new 2008 CR165

Just the usual stuff. Hopefully it's a good deal w/ lots of extras. You will love the little bike compared to the 450.

well after a compression test its only got 150 lbs so I have a new ring and base gasket coming from Walt

My 144 was supposed to only have 40 hrs on the top end, but my new compression gauge says only 120 psi. Got a fresh ring from Walt, base gasket just arrived, so 165 next.

sweet.... I will say this thing was a pain to start as you can imagine.... but once running had the best power I can remember and its low on compression.... I cant wait for the full monty

Mine usually starts 1 kick, so surprised me when I saw the compression test. And it's still fun to ride, but weak on top. Me too, can't hardly wait for the 165.

The 7602 radiator braces for the TE310 fit the WR144 the same p/n.
I'm certain because I took them off my TE when I sold it and got a WR144 that that are now mounted to. They are great guards, and braces- red are sweet looking too..

image1 (4).JPG well did a ring tonight.... noticed a flat spot on it... Walt said thats where they wear..... PO said it was a fresh rebuild... LMAO

I'm tired of crappy workmanship by people.... this bike needs a total frame off restore just to make it look and feel right..

Might have been good workmanship, but seems like a bit of BS to sweeten the deal.

There is some satisfaction going through every bolt to ensure all is spec'd proper, not stripped and done JUST right. I'm going to check compression once I get my oring for my top cover of carb and just open up the top to ensure PO actually DID put the 144 kit on it heheheheheheh. I belive the original owner put the 144 kit before selling to PO but.....looks like this little detail needs to be confirmed as well. I have great things to say about my findings with this rig so far ;) Only thing that is notable is a slightly bent left rad and brace...luckily had a EE brace on the left...odd that it is only on the left....Where did you get that seat cover btw....I like it!

Heck i'll trade you for a stocker I hate it.... LOL

if I had a stock cover it would be off there in a second... white seat here in KY wont last long....
