As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
Yep .. very dangerous to say the least... Who schooled her on jumping off? (I tell every person who gets on my bikes to jump-off and do NOT ride it over the side of the mountain ...)
She learned in the Womb....
When her mom was carrying her, she was riding a quad (only God knows why), and a similar thing happened. Her mom bailed before going over the hill, lol.

Yeah she does, I'll just have to be careful to ease her into it again. She was already a little afraid of hills, I'm sure this didn't help, lol. She grew up around quads and stuff, so it isnt a brand new thing to her. I think she'll be alright after a few rides.![]()
I'd say that is good ... But I'd be really careful and let her be sure when and where she wants back on board again ...(I've seen more that one rider here stop after 1 crash)
Haha - crashing is an art... im kidding, but I'm somewhat serious. There is a skill to crashing, and the only way to get good at it is by crashing a lot... and let me tell you - I'm a master of crashing.
Smart girl. It takes guts to jump off a moving vehicle. Did that quad bike fall all the way down the cliff...? Amazing. She's got a great story to tell..! Thanks for posting..I love good endings.![]()
Just wish I´d had the chance of sticking my wife to one before the divorce.
