• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Opening NEPG round in SC is Sunday. Defending Champion, Team Husqvarna rider Andrew Delong will lead off the the Pros, on row 21. Team Husky GNCC rider Josh Strang, will also be riding this enduro, along with a few select others. Husky support team, Airgroup Racing's Ryder Lafferty, will be there in the pro ranks. Unfortunately his Airgroup Teammate Nick Fahringer, will have to sit out at least some of the season, due to knee surgery. 2014 AA/Expert Class National Champion, Craig Delong returns as a Husky support rider and 2013 Women's Class Champion Shawn Davidson, returns after a year off due to injury, as a Husky dealer support rider. Good luck to Andrew defending his title and all Husky riders in the NEPG Series this year!

I forgot that Husky GNCC Teamster Josh Strang, will ride this a few other select Nationals.
 
Josh Strang was 7th, Andrew Delong was 8th today and was 2nd in a few tests. Ryder Lafferty got a 10th today and Craig Delong 11th, which is pretty good for the stacked field, including series non regulars, like GNCC Champ Kalub Russell making an appearance.

Shawn Davidson won the Women's A/B Class, by 6+ minutes.

SP has released the hounds ... the blue white and yellow hounds ... Congrats to all the Husky riders ..
 
Dang, I have constant scars and scrapes all over my forearms......threading trees, is another story all together,,,although we do a bit of that its nothing like eastern stuff and mostly we have manzanita which will pitch you but usually you can tear into and through it..with some bloodshed....one hit into even a small tree pictured above and you are toast looking at that shot!!!
