• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Need new boots - Recomendations?

I think Motosportz bought a pair (not this model).

I've read some good things but not much info. I was hoping you would test them when I threw it out there lol

i have a pair of the sidi discovery rain boots without the steel toe. Smacked my toe square on a log at about 15 mph doing a mellow rds ride one. thought i was gonna pass out from the pain. broke my toe and didnt even know it till i yelped like a baby trying to get it off lster. Loved those boots but lessoned learned. I will Never ever ride offroad again without steel toe boots.

These Formas look great, and at $300 the price is right as well. Does anybody here own/wear these? I've never used anything but MX boots, so this is uncharted territory. I'd like to keep the ankle support that MX boots provide. But these are really tempting. Lack of a local dealer in Nor Cal is a problem though. I really like to test fit boots.

Get them you won't regret it ..easy to walk in and great protection...my understanding that they are sidi hurricanes or made by same people

yes id love to hear from someone with the hi end Forma's im guessin thats what i'd need to handle my 22s some times being big sucks:(

Sidi crossfires

Protective, light, flexible, durable, comfortable.

not cheap though but I don't feel ripped off paying the money for it
