• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Need new clutch perch/lever and cable

DIRTBIKE

Husqvarna
AA Class
Hi guys and gals i need to get a new clutch perch/lever and cable and wondering what brand other people recommend or if i should just go genuine. I thinking of getting a genuine perch and lever and a motion pro cable as I've now broken two cables in as many years.

Prather than it sticks out too much to get the hand guards on. Let us know how it fits. BTW, I'm readjusting the tuner and I'll pm you the numbers when I get them right. With the gearing I need to change it a bit.

found this in another old thread

I finally got an adult supervisor at ASV to help me with P/Ns.

BRAKE

BLH03 - C5 Pro Series
BHF32 - F Series

CLUTCH

CLM03 - C5 Pro Series
CMF30 - F3 Standard
CMF33 - F3 Pro Series

Thanks, Kelly, for chiming in. Yeah, I found the answer over at SuperMotoJunkie.com......connect the two wires and you're done.

(Right?)

can anyone confirm these fit? i have to order from o/s so i dont really have the option to test and return if they dont.

Something to think about is that adjusting the cable so it has zero or less free play to help find neutral (I have heard this advised numerous times on the internet) puts much more strain on all the clutch actuating parts. Cables, levers, actuating shafts etc. are not meant to be bottomed out because of no clearance/free play in the adjustment.

Confirmed fit / order for refurb Pro Perch and Shorty leaver placed.
