  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Hey everyone!!!....I just got this bike a couple months ago. I broke it in and raced the Loretta Lynn GNCC and it brought me some hardware in the rain and mud......This is my first Husky and I love this bike....

Are you planning on following the GNCC, or just do some local racing?
 
Probably some GNCCs after the summer break and our local harescrambles.....next year I will do the full GNCC schedule with a buddy....that's if we dare do snowshoe****************************************:eek:

BTW- Didn't I see you at the LL spring ride? And that's not a KTM hat is it?
 
Congrats on you win and your bike! I am new to Husky also and have the 09 TXC 510. Hey I haven't had mine in the mud yet just dry stuff so are you running the stock tire and if so with your win I guess it works?

i was there.....it was a good time...off to the 2 day ride on the 6th in middle TN...should be a blast!....yes...former owner of a 300xc and a 525exc.....trying to get a husky hat but no-one has any!
 
no...chewed that up in 2 days with the rocks at the Loretta Lynn fun ride...replaced it for the GNCC a few weeks later with an S12...
 
Hey John, I replaced mine with mt-16 pirelli, loved it, great all around tire and has lasted a long time!
