• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Northwest Fall Gathering Round 2 - China Hat / Bend Oregon Oct 2011

Never mind the fiddies. I am currently concentrating on getting some decrepit SUV to pull my fancy shmancy digs to one of these shin digs. You can bet that when next June rolls around, I'll be all set to go to the 5th Annual Troy Meadows Experience.

We will be rolling out tomorrow after work... Had a little issue with the trailer tonight and thought the trip was over before it began. :banghead:

This is not supposed to happen, quirky little trailer, a door came open in the back and stuck when trying to drop it. Then the front wouldn't raise up... Got it sorted though!

Now you know what to look for...

Looking forward to this... Didn't think it was gonna happen, but work for the week is done, truck is loaded, and I just gotta drop my boy off at school at 9am, then we are OUT!!! Looking forward to riding a 144****************************************

Well, David and I are not going to make it. Sucks but, life happens, huh? Wish we could see you all! Be safe!

Thats too bad Greg and David. I cannot make it either I'm gearing up for Baja but lets do it again soon.

C ya Jim.

Great turnout. A bunch of people back from last years crowd and new faces too. Nice to meet Kris and Jason from HVNA. Creaky knees and all I had a great time. Thanks to BMP for bringing a fleet of bikes. Lots of smiling faces on those new Husqvarnas. The TXC310 was the star but lots of love for the 2 strokes and the big 4 strokes too

It was nice to meet a group of people that all have the same interest. Thank you Mr. Motorsportz, BMP, and 7602 for the raffle bling. Also a BIG thanks to HVNA for the awesome Q & A.
I had a great time riding a new area and I hope you all did too!

It was great to meet everyone! Special thanks to Bill for the hat and Motorsportz Mike for the front disc guard I won in the raffle. It was a great time! Look forward to seeing everyone again next year.

Pictures, we need some pictures......

Well, my digi cam went thru the washer the night before, so trailside photos were non-existent for me this time, but I did, however, snap this phone photo on my way back into Bend Saturday evening... The sunset was outstanding, with amazing colors... I do know that Ride got some killer flicks...
