• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Not really Terra related... But what does your shop/garage/etc look like??

Yeah you are a real motorbike and scooter enthousiastic. If you wonder about my garage I do not have a picture but a discription:
Garage in my house is quite organised:
A black BMW 535D this I will use for my funeral ;-)
a stairs/ladder on the wall on the some cabinets with tools
Wintertyres of my black mistres
only a little mess all around

My wooden garage is fully loaded:
A trailer for my 2 go-carts
A 2 stroke go-cart (125 cc Rotax max junior)
a 4 stroke go cart (350 cc twin 4 stroke Subaru)
A Yamaha BW 50 scooter (not in use for many years)
My beautifull red Honda VFR 800 FI of 2001
4 minibikes
lot of carting tyres and spoilers, bodywork
4 bicycles (hee I am original born Dutch, so forgive me)
my workbench
the storage for my old paper
the waterpump for my garden and tools for the garden

So where is my Husky sleeping ?
Well under the roof of the terrace of my house for the time being.

Next year I will extend my wooden garage.
And my girlfriend want to buy a small car, so I think about the 3rd extension of this wooden garage or a garage sale to sell what I do not use like the scooter, the minibikes and 1 bicycle or 2 bicycles).

Your picture makes me happy I am not the only collector.

Regards, John

My garage is so full I need to take all bikes out to work on one. Currently it holds:
- A Yamaha FZ6 of my better half
- A Yamaha XT660Z Tenere, which I should really advertise somewhere, as I don't really ride it anymore.
- A Yamaha WR450F
- A Yamaha TRX850 track bike in Kenny Roberts paint job
- A Suzuki DRZ400 of my better half
and of course 2 Husqvarna TR650 Terras.

and somewhere way in the back 2 bicycles as well.
All the tools and spare parts are stored on some shelves in the back. I need to take a couple of bikes out every time I have to get at anything. ;)

Hmm i was calculating:
Your better half has 3 bikes, the FZ 6, the DRZ650 and her Terra
But you have 5 !!!

Wouldn't it be better if the better half has 5 ?
Maybe you can post that TRX850 with the special paint job, I am quite curious for that one.

My garage is modest. I live in a Condo-Plex but my condo has a two car garage (two deep not two wide). This works for me as I am retired and tinker a lot with bikes and other stuff.

I'd say what would be better is to have a bit more room in the garage :D
So we're getting rid of a few bikes that we don't really ride anymore. My Tenere is going and so is her FZ6 (100.000km, still running like clockwork).
And since we hardly do any track days any more she already sold her '92 CBR600. We'll be sharing the TRX on any future track days.

Sure, it is the bike from my avatar. It is a pretty standard TRX in track trim, with upgraded brakes (Sumitomo's "blue spots" from and old R6) and a classic Yamaha Racing paint job.

My garage. The tire cover is from my Grandfathers business in the 50's. Imports back then-Austin Healey, MG, Jaguar, Triumph, not Japanese!
