• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Now that you bought the TR650 - where ya gonna go?

Many what a great trip that's going to be! And,....

I've got about 800 miles of mostly off road with them so far and they've held up well. I estimate that my Baja trip will add another 2500 miles. I've packed them with a tool roll, cable lock, jumper cables, two tubes, patch kit and air pump. Fare amount of weight and volume.

IMG_1254.jpg hi fellow huskies ,about 700km on sunday with strada and vfr1000 , port, bellingen, dorrigo, armidale, uralla, walcha, down to,wauchope, home.

Headed out to Mirboo North for the "Blessing of the Bikes" for the start of the riding season. Police lost count at 500 bikes, great location and fantastic turn out for the first event of this type in Mirboo North.

hi fellow huskies , the greatest bikers cafe in Dorrigo in northern NSW OZ. fast and mellow !

Hi Ken, I'm now in Loreto, 890 miles into my Baja trip and the Mosko Moto's have been great. The latest hurricane, Simon gave them a good test for water protection. Lots of destruction down here. Bahia Los Angeles is 3/4's gone. Very sad to see. Even did a crash test in loose sand south of Coco's. Pics of the trip and panniers when I get back to the states in November.

Looks like the 30th/31st March/ 1+2. April at this stage, coming down from QLD/Fraser Island/ Bunya Mountains etc, zigzagging the Great Divide back to about Albury over a fortnight.
Might even stick around the area for a couple of days or so.
Would like to catch up with Keith and his Rail Yard again (AUS Rail Museum, out the back of Dorrigo)
Will be with a bigger group (10 or so), incl. at least a couple of TR's, quite possibly more.
