• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Thanks, Kevin. Saturday was a great day. Thanks Clete for leading us around, and Steve for the use of his picnic table.
Perfect weather and smooth trails. We got lost as usual, didn't even need Russ to do it!

Thanks to everyone that showed up. Thanks to BillF, Bryon, JonXX and all the gang.

Oh, and thanks to Dean and his assistants for running this great web site that brings us all together. Great bunch of riders that enjoy riding and talking Husky!

Looking forward to next year.
Dave

Greg, Val, and I had a great time!
Our long ride to Fort Rock on Sunday turned near-disaster as we got caught in major rainstorms and were not dressed for it. We warmed up and ate at the Fort Rock Diner. On the way back to camp we got hit with a snow storm. It was quite the adventure!
Big THANKS to Bill, Bryon, Dean, and everyone involved in making this a really fun and enjoyable time!

Here are a few pics... Will have to condense about 46 GoPro videos into a short montage.

Wish I could've ridden with you again this year, Dave.

Tammy,
Same here. We missed you.
I'm sure you could've read the map(s) better than us. (we had 2 maps, it didn't help!). I guess when were about to leave the OHV area boundary, that's when we figured out we went North instead of South. It was only an 8 mile detour this time. What the heck, we were having too much fun riding!

See you next year for sure.
Dave

It was a 125 weekend for me. Our room number was 125. On my way home today, stopped at Sno-Cap in Sisters, and my order number was 125. Got home, and had a dollar and a quarter in my pocket.
Here is the pics I got. Random, but good memories. Thank you to everyone who continued to feed me beer Saturday night. I only brought a 6'er, thinking that would be enough. I probably drank close to double that.

Rode a ton, met a bunch of people, had a blast. Blake and I were the last ones riding sunday in the rain and snow storm and loving it. Rode a gob of bikes and will do a write up soon. Great time. Thanks a bunch for bringing the bikes Bills. I'd like a TXC 310 please.

Great time with good people and sampleing all the bikes.
We got lost as usual, didn't even need Russ to do it! FYI. I did not get lost all weekend

Yes you did. We lost you Saturday afternoon. Your memory is as bad as your direction  Was fun riding with you and thanks for use of your bikes. Had a hoot on your 449. Your 310 rips too. FUN!

It depends on how you define lost ?
Looking forward to your ride reports. Several guys are on the fence about the TXC 310 on this and the other forum
