• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

OSSA encounter

Nice videos, thanks for posting. Do you find the pegs sturdy? What about the stock plastics?

Thanks!
I fixed the post, had two of the same video.
The camera doesn't seem to be doing well in the dark recently, I'm not sure why.

Yes, the pegs seem very good. They have new ones for 2014.

Plastics seem fine so far, but of course I won't really know until I have a bunch of hours on it.

Like I mentioned, the rear brake pedal is crappy, but the trials one is good and will bold right on (I have one on order). Too bad they don't fit them stock.

I really like the whole idea for this bike. There has to be a huge market for a nimble, lightweight trail bike that isn't 10 feet tall and set up fir motocross racing. I bet with a bit of marketing this bike will sell like hot cakes. Do you mind me asking what the price range on this bike is? And where did you get it? Thanks!

Cool bike, thanks for posting it. Does it still have trails bike type gearing or spread out better? How is the power for climbing hills and faster stuff?

Very cool bike and it looks like the perfect bike for that type of riding. I just don't know if I could ride on the side of cliffs like you guys do. I also have a few questions if you don't mind..... How sharp does the bike turn? How much clutch do you need to use for that type of riding and how is the clutch? Does it feel as light as it looks? How the starting? Thanks.

I looked it up and the dry weight is 164!
