• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

pics of my husky set-up

I thought the 2nd and 3rd sections befor gas wer tough too. Nice and fast then splots of slop to break up the rhythm.. Loved the first section tight. Pines and 10 foot visibilty. I love that stuff! Some slop thrown in for good measure too. Was a real pleasure to repeat it as the last section of the day. Actually did it 2 min faster too! My pit crew got some awsome pics I will post if anyone wants to see. Too bad for shane in 1st section. What happened? He would have smoked his class if whatever happened there did not happen. He would have won it if he did not burn one in the after gas also. Cryin shame. Was an AWSOME enduro and worth the 4 plus hour drive. Got to bling up my new race rig too. The stuff I forgot is in the mail. How did water lookk coming down the sluice as they opened the dam up? Did you feel lke bruce willis in the tunnel in Die Hard 2? I did better than I thought despite losing my rear brake line on a crash at about mile 20. The rears would have come in handy on the grass track and the enurocross stuff. You owe me or I will post the "less than glamorous" log pile pictures. LOL! Good stuff and lots of Huskys too. Many with Motosportz and P3 stuff on em. We got to get them aware of the 7062 and uptite stuff brother. Had a great time and all in the north east should do this enduro....definitley on the "Joe Picks" list. Hell there were 23 guys in my class (normally like 10-15 tops!)

thats ok joe,I had a guy skip the whole dirt pile section after the river,he went from the woods around the angled logs and went right for the log pile as i was going over the last dirt pile! wish the club had someone there to direct traffic, guys probably just remembered how the course was run in the morning and thought the dirt piles wouldnt be used since we were already in the corner of the field coming out of the riverbed
