• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Pics of your 610!

What Camera are you using to take the shots ?
I'm not sure I want to start taking my SLR out, just yet.

Those are from an iPhone 5
And a canon g15 point and shoot.
Ill take my SLR on easy rides when I may be shooting
stock images, but not on the hard single track I was
planing that day.

Awesome looking trails Scout and the 610 looks sweet in blue/yellow. I'm thinking of some blue/yellow plastics for my 09 610 and keep the red/black/white for resale (as if I would ever sell it).

Here's the new-to-me '06 610 I just bought, all carboned up.

I plan on putting the original red and white plastics on so I won't cry so much when I slide the bike...

Snapped this up at Stumpy Meadows Lake earlier today. The snow was still on the road getting there.

Snapped my damn clutch cable up by Placerville ( I was lucky, pretty close to the freeway when it let go ), made it back home without one stall, about 15 lights or so. I must of looked like a fool running with the bike under me to get enough speed to drop it back into first at lights.

Couple of vids of this weeks ride with some work mates. Took the 610 a bit out of its comfort zone but it handled the rough stuff well. Apologies for some of the course language used at times.

Great terrain!! I'm always surprised how well the 610 handels what ever I throw at it. It's 90% rider! The XR motored right up that nasty section and the smallest bike (klx300r) had a hard time.

Just got the new x2 eclipse! snapped a couple of pics at work. very nice light! night and day difference over the stocker. i can see when i ride at night now! the install went well. still getting used to the new look!GOPR0179.JPGGOPR0180.JPG
