• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Hey Jimmy!

I picked clyde's 610 up this week. I put the rack back on last night. I got a complete set of yellow plastic, a Cigar Mike's center stand, and bunch of other stuff with it.

Did about 60 miles of dirt roads today. Really digging this bike, can't wait to get it into a little rougher terrain.

Man- that is incredible. The 610 is what I wanted most (ended up w/ the 630)- just couldn't find one of reasonable age/mileage/cost. Great catch man!
 
I had been thinking about a dual sport / Enduro for a couple years but I just hadn't seen one I wanted to pay much for. Then this falls in my lap. I've know the previous owner for several years so I jumped on the deal. I would like to find some new tank side plastic for it but otherwise I'm digging it.
 
First post, just picked this up on Sunday. Haven't had a chance to take her out yet as there was a bit of a title transfer snafu and the battery was toast. Got the title and battery figured out just in time for it to start raining!

Exhaust developed a crack at the heatshield mounting point, as well as the most rearward one...

A friend of mine welded it for me, and we put in an O2 bung for some Wideband action so I can get the FCR dialed in hopefully.
