• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Yes, Lynx S. The Lynx R is up down (I corrected myself--I orginally wrote side by side). Touring windshield mounted. I also got the smaller one for summer/off road use, although the touring seems small enough.

I'm 6'2". The tall touring fairing isn't tall enough to get the it up over my helmet, so there's buffeting unless I lower it a little. I do like the slight flare in the width. I had a custom Madstad windshield on my KLR650, which to me is the gold standard. Could put the airflow completely over my helmet or block noting if I wanted full airflow over me. I think the Lyn is a great compromise for this type of bike--light and functional.

Hey guys! Seeing how many of you have 630’s. I would appreciate some input. Looking at picking up a 2011. With 10,000 miles on it. Well taken care of but no inspection or work done to it. Nothing aftermarket. Told it fires right up runs great. If anyone could give me some details. I hear it can be difficult to find parts here in the us. Especially in California.

I've not seen anything that's been a no go yet. People on here have done most things before.

Today for work I stopped for a cappuccino in an Italian bar that has a particular meaning for "us Husqvarna owners" ..... Cafehusky bar the best place to have a good Italian espresso
