  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Can someone post a "picture" of the "Actual" powervalve linkage bolt(s) position in relation to the arm and mount. "After" the actual adjustment? WR125 2010

Just a tad confused. Thanks, Tommy:thinking:

Here it is in stock location, bolt should be moved near the top of the slot.

Do you have to loosen both bolts to make this adjustment or is the bolt on the left just for the arm to swivel on?

not really on the left one as it has a rectgualr cutout to index its place.
top of slot move PVs as closed as they go lowering exhaust port and give max low PRM torque. However there are stops machined int slots in cylider that only alow the PV's to close so much so they maintain a safe clearnce from the ring in the ports........snagging woulld suck.

BTW just got a leftover 09 and the kit and wallys springs and WER waved a wand on the suspension!
I"M BAAAAAAAACK********************************************************************************!!

yes loosen both bolts....a 14mm wrench works well to hold the linkage to prevent ODing it when your loosening the smaller 8mm ones

Thanks kelly. I adjusted mine the opposite way!!! It's ok though. I enjoyed pulling things apart.

So, to beat a dead dog, the space should be "under" the nut?:canada:

Correct, opposite of what is shown in the pic above.

It's a sucess! I adjusted the linkage arm from 1/8 top of slot. Plus the fact that I found the correct-almost perfect jetting. (posted in jetting database yesterday) The bike has now produced everything that I've heard that it can do and is waiting to show me more....YEE-HAAA!
