  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

All 2st Please post pictures of your 2 stroke bikes.

cheeseball? i resemble that remark....

had to push a couple of small elements i could not ride over and the little two-stroke tip-toes over stuff really nice w/o spinning- that saves tons of energy. the feakin cobby hills i made it up on were just ugly. mid hill restart lugging is killer. still learning the bike but man can it carry me at times. need to get more rust off and spend more time on it. did some stuff that would have had the TC belching coolant. PNW ride is on the bucket list too...

but....right now, i need a nap.

:oldman:

Waking up this thread. Just added the RFX shift lever, Fastway F3's, 2010 tank plastics and a Keihin PWK.

looks great. new plastic is the schizzle aint it?

dont scratch it now... :p

Thanks. Yeah, it beats the peeling decals, plus one of mine was cracked pretty good. I just ordered the 4ST plastics for my 610 from Kelly.

copy that...mine was rashed real good after the first ride alone from bushes, branches etc. wish they sold them in a matte or pre-scrubbed finish. never understood the shiny dirt bike plastic logic- it's gone the first 5 mins!.. plus them decals are, well, ya know....are those the in-mold stuff? scratches dont bug me but the peeling/chewed decals flapping all over freak me out...

Every KTM rider who hops on a WR250 is surprised how much power that bike makes.

What's neat is they'll pull so well down low and then they are scary fast on top end. I know some 450 riders that think I'm lying about it being a stock port 250. They think I've got a ported 300.

Just making her mine!

Just doing those fun little things that make them personal. Rear fender before and after
