As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
Looks great, Pacific Blue Water Blue inspired? Decal works?Might as well post the latest, over here too.
Yup, Decal Works. It's actually the same design that I got for my 300 (T11), only in different colors. You can now make their stock designs in just about any color combination you can think of by clicking on the new color option buttons on the web site.Looks great, Pacific Blue Water Blue inspired? Ray ray, is your bike street legal? And how is traffic laws out there on dirtbikes? Seems like it's pretty lenient for you to not have plates or running lights...
My wr isnt street legal, but I installed my 630's plates on it so I can ride on public roads...kinda hard just to get to the sticks cause I need to go through public roads. Would be close to impossible to do it without having the 630's plates
I got it to be public land legal out here. I can't compare the two, since I only heard the bike run with the stock one at the dealership for a very short moment.is that turbinecore 2 silencer quieter than the stocker DD or you just get it for the SA?
Goons in the dunes bike if I ever saw one! Ha ha...
Just slap a bunch of stickers on it.I'm thinking my new 02 CR250 project does not look as nice as Dirtdames 125
