  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

All 2st Please post pictures of your 2 stroke bikes.

Mine's still looking pretty stock.

There's a Rekluse in there and now a Lectron, Q Stealth SA, RaceTech springs and 5wt Maxima in the forks, new tires! and 13/46 gears. Now she absolutely rips everywhere, pulls 3rd and even 4th easily (just apply throttle), top end is amazing, 5th gear is crazy.

We did 3 hours running the fireroads and playing in the woods, had a blast. There was still snow and ice @ 4000', very slick.

Someone finally cut this tree out of the road. Used to have to crawl under, made more difficult by the high spot under it.
Now I can get a little air here ;) Can hardly wait to ride 'er again tomorrow.

Yeah, you guys got it worse than we did. My Mom's even further N and still has 4' feet of the stuff. Around here it's mostly thawed. On the sunny sides it's like spring with flowers already poking out. On the shady sides, especially at higher elevations, it's still winter.

That bike is bad az

thanks, its hard to push around that driveway! those studs dig in and my feet slide! its almost like it has flat tires...the neighbors thought i was crazy riding my bike around my double lot here in the borough..now im pretty sure they have no doubt

My driveway looked the same; finally started melting yesterday. Working on getting my Husky together today. Hope to get my first ride this Friday.:applause:
