  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

All 2st Please post pictures of your 2 stroke bikes.

What u runnin juicy? Suspension bloke recommended a 5.6 but I went one higher at 5.8. Need to check sag again but hard to do with the missus as she has no interest or patience for bikes. Bitch:)

Well thats the issue its the stock spring my sag is 2.1/4 inches with preload right off so if your riding 5.8 i should be on a 5 5.2? Cus im 170lbs wet with gear..?

Yeh my sag is only bout 90-95mm so prob bit hard spring wise but gotta do it fully geared up. I'm 225lbs plus gear though!

Not surprising ya missus doesn't want to check your sag.... Mine wont check mine either cos I'm always playing with it...
My bike that is.....

Nah old mate heats em up to get all carbon/spooge out then wire brushes em back bare then heats up seams for aesthetics. This pipe was pretty mangled too but he gets em back to probly 90-95% like new! He does good work for sure

You can blue them with a oxy and acetylene torch. Then while hot. Use wrag and coat pipe with 90 weight gear oil to season it.

You can add purples, blues, golds etc.... When you get hang of it.

I know it's a shot in the dark, but I'll try anyway.
I'm currently restoring a '02 CR250 and I'm looking for the N-Style graphics kit made for the FBF factory team (including the seat cover). If you know of anyone that still has this kit, please let me know.

The kit came with the fender piece but I didn't like it. I'll probably just stick a husky logo on there like stock.

I had a race the next day and it was shaping up to be a mudder, so didn't feel like scrubbing the bike. I hosed off the big chunks at least

Mixin it up with sum green-different. No front fender graphics? U lose points for not washin it though mate!;)

There, I washed it. Happy now? :D

I also ordered a red husky logo sticker to put on the front fender.
