  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

All 2st Please post pictures of your 2 stroke bikes.

Looking good Crocus. Are those fresh upper rad shrouds? Having trouble finding new white ones. Busted one at my last race.

Here's my 2011 WR 250 on my 1st ride of the season (March 30, 31). I ended driving home through a nice snow storm. #isitspringyet ?

Im new here so hello all husky fans!

Im kind of italy Husqvarna lover (also swedish huskies too ofc!). I have WR 300 -12 and last weekend I bought WR 250 -01 just because I think those 2 bikes share a lot same components like engine, frame, brakes etc.. and it was quite cheap and low mileages so I have spare engine if WR 300 get some problems. WR 250 is good condition but I have some questions about it:

1. Sometimes shifting from 2nd or 3rd gear to up need some force. I hear something about loose bolt?

2. Bike run very rich. I will clean TMX when I have time but its wierd how rich it feels. I just wonder if there is air leak near intake manifold or reed valves and it mess things. I will check needle and nozzles. Air filter is clean.

Both my bikes have FMF Gnarly exhaust and stock TMX carb. You can share your TMX needle and nozzle setup please. :)

Here is 1 bad picture.

Nice 06' Blair!!
Did 36 hard miles yesterday before the rains settle in here in fabulous Wash. State.
I loves this bike w/ Rekluse 3.0. Perfectly jetted.
My buddy just bought a 2019 KTM 300 XC. He rode my bike yesterday & claimed it was the best 2-stroke motor he has ever ridden. He's ridden a few!
I agreed, potent but smooth power delivery! If I could just put his suspension on my bike wow!!
