  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

All 2st Please post pictures of your 2 stroke bikes.

Hi, please excuse my English, I'm from Spain and I use a translator, haha. I couldn't find the intake manifold for my Husqvarna WR 125 and WR 300, so I decided to make them using 3D printing with a flexible material, TPU 85a. The original intake manifolds, although new, are clearly deteriorated from age. By the way, I've been using them for months; someday I'll start a thread with all the parts I've made for my Husqvarnas.
This is brilliant!! Are you able to see how it is to post one to UK please and I'll pay for your time and and postage

Hi @Birky_41 , you have some info on this older thread of me ...

As you can see I had several issues with the intake boots...

This part looks like a good alternative but it is a little more expensive and located in the US:

Cheers.

PS: Please reply in that other thread if you want to, I think the actual thread here is only to post pics of bikes ...
That's great thank you and will do

Hi, the only thing is that the design I made for my 2009 WR300 isn't the same as the OEM one it came with because I have a Keihin PWK 38 AS carburetor installed and I needed a shorter intake manifold than the original (I think it's similar to the original Husqvarna manifold up to 2008; from then until 2013 the manifold changed and became longer). Anyway, I'll also design one like the original in case anyone needs it. I'm selling it for €30 + shipping; if for any reason you can't find it, get in touch.
