• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

DEC2012 Johnny Campbell's JCR Christmas GP weekend, 4th 50A

Rob,

Was out at The Ranch over the weekend with the kid. The girl at the gate said there's a new track - the Saddleback TT. But, she had no idea where it was.

Do you know if it's part of the track left over from the JC Christmas Race? And, if so, where is it?

It will or to be next to the carlsbad replica you cant miss it if its there it will have those crazy step up and downs that the old saddleback had.

Here's a few on the old steed, I'll race the new Husky later this month.

FAR Husqvarna Team BikeView attachment 22479

I've been watching the updates on Facebook! I never realized that I lived 10 minutes from where Delong grew up until I mentioned it to a buddy in the Reading Offroad club. Didn't get to meet Delong but got an autographed picture while I was home on leave. Already thought the FAR team was great but ill be honest. You guys are even cooler now lol. Good luck this season!

Riviere's Revendge, a harescramble/endurocross. This race had huge tires standing on end and laying flat that you had to get over. Logs, rock garden, creek crossing, It was the first race of the year and first time with a Husky. Had my best finish ever. :)Rivere\'s Revenge.jpg
