• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

First thing I've ever won on a dirt bike besides some assorted titanium bits.

These are in a series on a photobucket slide show, and I had previously posted at least one of these photos...but for those who think about SoCal as a desert or sunny all the time..... this was a MAR 2012 Enduro we had in Anza east of only partly cloudy Temecula on that same day. I wanted to share the album, because more pictures came up. I was on the best and perfectly set up tool for the job my 2011 TE310, which got me 1st 50B and some nice Husky Bucks!

Hopefully this worked! Never tried to insert a picture before. Anyway, this photo is circa late 70's. back when men were men and leathers(some) were still being made with actual leather! Quite stylish and quite hot....

Here's a few pics from the last AXC race at Wolf Bayou. The guy on the TXC310 (That's more airborne) is my Son.
I (474) came from a bad start and being last off the line to Second Place. Could not quite catch the leader - oh well. I still had a great day riding my bike.

You and me both. I had a 2000 RSV Mille R and always wanted an RS250. A friend of mine had one from 1997 which had lights on it. It was imported thru Texas. He put the plate from his Ninja 600 and rode it on the street before making it his track bike. Sickness. image.jpg
