  • Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

why would you make this tank for the BMW 450 before you would make something for the Husky's? :lol: i know this unit has not outsold the 08's, 09's & 10's. if anyone has the answer please let me know.:excuseme:
 
Sent Aqualine another inquiry. The only promising thing about this is that its a different response than the form letter I've received over and over again. Maybe their really working on them:

Man, good question. That rear tank thing is ugly but I guess usable. The BMW 450 isn't even street legal is it? For US anyway.
 
On justgastanks.com they also show an upcoming 3 gal tank for the BMW G450X. 5 gallons extra capacity for the BMW from Aqualine but nothing showing for the efi Husky's, what is really going on?

me: why would you guys build tanks for the BMW 450 and the Husabergs before you would do anything for the Husqvarnas? just curious as i know neither one of those models has sold more units than the Husqvarna. are BMW and KTM are funding these tanks? if so i understand. if not i am questioning the logic.

TE450. We made the BMW and the Husaberg first as we had to have tanks in
time for the Australian Safari. Hopefully we will have one ready for you
soon.

:excuseme: nobody races husky in the Australian Safari? maybe they would if they had the range. thanks Aqualine for not answering the question!!
 
The BMW 450 is 49 state legal. Dose't seem to be selling in PA. very well though. (local dealer only sold one).
