• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Rekluse Core EXP 3.0 full kit for my TE300........

Oh yes you can still bump start, but not on the fly. A little more involved, on a bike with a hydraulic clutch, especially if you don't have the Rekluse adjustable slave cylinder....
Oh yeah, you're right. Forgot about that  Haven't yet had one on a dirt bike.

Hope that device works out for ya Mr. Hard Charger, but for me, replacing the 1 finger salute WP23 is displaying here, is not gonna happen anytime in the near future.

Setting the engine RPM at a position & then controlling the speed of the bike and the wheel spin via 1,2,3 fingers on my left hand is just too cool of a motorcycle-move for me to give up... Fits well into the point&shoot style I do on blind curves where traffic might be coming on these roads and trails...

RV2 is pointing the way he wants to go also on this pass he made on Nagl wayback at the start of the FIM racing ... The sound of his KX as he fed the power to ground on his KX, is what I'm listening for on the trails ... Of course, that would be a 250cc Husky sound; 2 or 4 stoke..

Install and quick test down street done. I did not want to annoy the neighbors at 9pm so later today. I will complete the initial Rekluse procedure
warm up machine, rev 20 times, do 20 1st gear no clutch starts, then 10 second gear no clutch starts and test your free play then go ride.

Mod already done- I have the EE slave cylinder guard that covered the adjustable Rekluse slave. so I put a wax ear plug on the guard and using the mount screws for alignment pressed the cover over the new slave, pulled it off and center punched the cover using the wax witness mark, then progressively drilled and finally countersunk to chamfer the big hole edge. so now I have an EE slave guard with a big hole in the middle to allow for rekluse slave adjustments.
then immediately we are heading out for a hardcore loop, perfect test of this new system

You gonna have fun! Just make sure it is in neutral when you blip the throttle!
Or you gonna have a run away train!
I crashed Sunday 4 times and just picked the bike up and was still running.
Worth ever cent!
Soon, I want to experiment with the other springs.

no words needed I did the preride sequence 20 blips, 20 1st gear no clutch starts and 10 no clutch 2nd gear starts then jumped into the deep end immediatly. I get it I really get it fact it aint a crutch its an additional weapon i the arsenal
I dont really need any time with it I already fully get it wow....the club fee was expensive, but heck the thing flat works super well. we did the rock gardens and waterfall trails the rekluse kept the bike smoother and we did a few high log crosses with no issues. Its a great tool.

full manual use of the clutch is still very important for me I used it on many rocks and log crossings. the auto seems to simply smooth the clutch feel when going manual. It has really good feel, Im more than impressed with this current tech that rekluse has accomplished.
I est. the biggest log hit at 2-2.5 ft from ground to top, I will check it next time out.
with the rekluse I got less rear wheel kick over the thing, just a more smooth launch and carry over.

Do you get to keep the clutch lever or is it useless?

I agree. The power to ground affect is a lot smoother.
I still want to play with the springs some. I maybe want just a titch more bite on the clutch.
Also been very wet in our area, so want to wait and make sure, I just not spinning more.
No doubt! I will never, ever, ever! Own another 4 Stroke or big bore 2 stroke unless I have one on it!
U can tell I'm gettin old!
