  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

250-500cc ....relapse....

Umm, I only see one bike in your garage. What are you going to ride the other 6 days of the week? I suggest a WR125 for those zing ding ringy days. Another WR300 for allowing down time to modify your new WR300. A TR650 for some nice commutes into town. A TE310 for those days you don't want to premix. A TE511 for those dual sport kinda days. And a CR65 for those days you don't want to walk down to your mailbox for the mail... ride instead.

my therapist will be calling you...wont be happy either.

yer avatar is freaking me out too. lab's lookin right thru me. stop it. stop it. STOP IT!

and- speaking of WR125's ed? here's one for the Trigger fans. this bike carried me on my last 5 hour death march in steep canyons that' i'll prolly ever do in this life. he never missed a beat, or got hot, or anything. used lil under 2 gallons in 40 miles in 5 hours. it was a bear of a ride. bike let me finish. not as nice as kel's 165 but, it has some subtle goodies here n there, like my home made graphics and bash plate, and it flat smoked and made a lot of believers outa them "other" brand riders when afterwards i yank my lid hey whos that old fart on the 125, that's a husky???? lol. miss ya lil buddy, you were the bees-knees.

mreep mreeep mreeeeeep! 380326_143758582397974_1255464725_n.jpg

No sir, paroop dangdang! You do this and install a Raptor lever and you can pull clutch all day with your pinky!

When i just traded in my bike, guys @ Halls were all over that clutch and couldn't believe how easy it was. Also, pulls in more so you can do, in gear starts with no clutch drag.
