I have a 2007 TE450. So I have shipped my forks and shock off to Les at LTR. Since I had my bike apart already I decided to pull the carb and clean it. I searched back on my TT posts about my jetting, and have discovered that my jetting is not what I thought it was. I have a 175 main (been fine) a 45 pilot (seems fine) and an 85 leak (not what I thought). I thought I had a 65.
First I want to make sure I am checking the correct jet's. All 3 are right together in the float bowl, correct? I pull the float bowl cover off and the main is in the middel with the pilot and leak on either side?
My bike has been running fine with this setup ever since I re-jetted it and added the YAM needle (5BE-14916-DP-00 5th position). I did this early on when I got the bike and was just following the dealer's directions and reading post's on Thumper Talk. Now I am not sure that this is the setup I should have.
Just thinking..
Mabye not a such a good thing sometimes.
