• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Revloc Dyne Ring in stock at Motosportz

Yeah, the springs in mine have stressed the Aluminium a little. It still works fine, but it's on my todo list. (and I really should stop wheelieing 5 x a day.)

I would much rather replace the whole deal with a auto-clutch than pay the same price for a new stock part.

The Dyna Ring installs in your clutch basket, does not come with it.

"and I really should stop wheelieing 5 x a day" uh no, thats the fun part.

Damn, I thought it replaced the basket.

So yeah, see what sort of deal you can make me on the whole deal

So I have been away from 2 strokes for about 5 years and just got a 300. Really havent followed the auto clutch fad. Does it mean you have no more clutch lever anymore? I have an MX background and just cant imagine not using the clutch ins ticky situations

I do not quite undersatnd the whole thing. Is a c or B rider faster with it??? I can not imagine and A rider would be faster and in my mind I would think they (or myself would be slower, especially on a 125 or 144) What do you think?? Good if I'm old?? Or what?? How about durability??

Will give the long version later but the autoclutch can be a great asset to a newb or exploited by a A class rider. When you gas it it engages and off you go. You can override it with the lever but don't need the lever at all if you don't want. Will not stall if installed right and your jetting is on. Anyway let you pick through technical stuff amazingly well, will not stall, allows brake sliding with no clutch pull, applies power evenly. If it works for you and you use it to your advantage they are very good. Like all modes some do not like it. More pro are using them all the time. Very reliable, long lasting.

I really like them on WR250's seems to work great on that bike (Rekluse pro).

One of our team riders has it on his KTM 300 and 250. Loves it!! He had to spend a little bit of time adjusting to get it perfect but he now says he has 100% normal clutch if he wants and it will never, ever stall.

A top pro rider tried it and did not not like it. So it is all about what you prefer. I think if you will find more and more younger top riders will be using them as it will be what they are used to.

I have an EFM on my XT225 and love it. I'm in for one for my 610 when they are ready. And for my new 310 when I get it:)

I am in for the TE610 also ('07 if it matters). And my future TE310 when I decide to pony up for one :-). Is there an internet echo in here?.

Edit: 8/28. Cancel the TE610 plans. I have just added a 2006 TE450 to my stable (sooner than envisioned) for single track work and it wil linstead get the auto clutch treatment. The 450 will have to tide me over until I pop for a 2011 TE310 in an year or so.

I'll be emailing you shortly (later today) RE one for my '08 WR250...

Just bought one for my WR250; can't wait for it to get here!

Kelly, any news on the 610?

I've come to the point where I think I need a new basket... Do you have a used one you could bring to china hat?

Any solid status for other models? I would like to get one for my 09-310 as soon as they are available.

We sent Revloc all the husky clutch baskets to make this happen.

OK,

patience is not my thing... But I am really broke so it all works out:cheers:

Is there any chance at all that the WR360 clutch basket is a fit for the 610? I have a complete extra clutch and would definitely donate the basket until you can get another.

I got one coming from Dan @ motoX. So you guys are welcome! I'm sure they'll release the autoclutch and return kelly's used one on Monday.:banghead:

FYI, here's why I need a new one:
