• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

One of my Huskies is still registered in CA, does that count?

You bet!

For the record, this thread started when I needed to get my hands on some efi bikes. First to take some to Dynojet to get some bikes fitted with PC Vs and to do iBeat experiments because Mikuni was not very forthcoming with some of the documentation once upon a time.

Then I wanted to get a bike to do some experiments with the PC V & Autotune, and iBeat.

Of course keep on posting and we can use the thread as a way of knowing where people live, and hopefully ride together.

Live in Smith River and work in SAC...at least for a few months more, then I am a full time Del Norter (Until I can get back to Spokane where I belong).

2009 610SM San Jose

Since I bought my 610 I have not seen another Husky SM on any of the usual choice roads, group rides or just cruising the street.

It going to be hard to try and tell the police it wasn't me and that he must have mistaken my bike for someone else.

I have a 2009 TE 510 and I live in Tehachapi that's 20 miles west of Mojave and looking forward to riding in the high country above Kernville

2009 TE 310 and 2004 TC 450 here in West Los Angeles. Gotta drive a bit to get to some riding, but it doesn't stop me. My buddy (with a nameless orange bike) and other buddy with a 2010 TE 450 tool around at Roher Flats off the 14 near Agua Dulce and Gorman/ Hungry Valley. Also ride cleghorn road and arrowhead off the 215.

Alot of Tahachapi folks on here, a good friend just bought a house up there, been persuading me to visit. I was unsure of the riding, but it sounds like you guys have it pretty well explored. Any potential tour guides out there?

09 TE 510 here in Valencia Ca. Installed a Scotts under mount stabilizer. Did the Desert Dash last weekend 200 miles in one day. Great bike suspension is a little soft for my 190 pound ass and gear but still loved the bike. Oh and it was very waterproof. Up to about 880 mies on the bike now.

I have a '09 TC510......I feel left out of the club

I plan to ride at E Street on Sunday
