• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Ross Rocher Sales

Definately a great shop for all if us in Canada!
A big Thanks to him and all the staff at the shop.
Plus they supplied the bikes at the traveling motorcycling expos :)
If your from northern AB or around stay away from Echo cycle and deal direct with Ross Rocher sales.

Yup, the trend continues. 2012 TE 511 came West across Canada unscathed, at a very reasonable price.
Slight delay due to Barrett (Canadian Distributor ) going down.
However after some calls, imported one from USA.
Bike arrived fully prepped ready to go, after mounting front wheel.
Scott asked for my weight, and suspension was set up just about spot on.
Very knowledgeable with this brand.
When the local dealers here advertise the TE 511 as a 511cc bike, and argue about it, plus try to charge you
a premium purchase price, it just opens the doors for a dealer like Ross Rocher.
Scott represents what dealers should, and used to be.
Don't be greedy, be accommadating, go the extra mile and the success will come.
Scott is a good reason why Husqvarna is increasing market share in Canada.
Thanks again Scott, another customer with a smile!

Scott is no longer a dealer for Husqvarna Motorcycles, I'll move this thread: Dealer Kudos -> General (Main) forum

No, it would have to come from a dealer. I think scott sold his husky stuff to Rob Lang (?) he may be a dealer.

I would talk to Scott (or send him a PM), to be sure. I know he is still planning on getting bike deals when he can find them, whether they will include Huskies, I don't know. You can also talk to Rob Lang. I know he is selling new bikes, but I also don't know if he will be selling new Huskies.

I'm fairly sure Scotty mentioned in this thread: http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/husqvarna-bmw-canada.24729/page-2#post-232536

That this is the dealer he sold his business too, but not 100% sure. You should read the thread in the link.
Drop us a line here at Cameron-cycle, Peterborough. 1-705-876-1171. We'll get you one

Sorry coffee, but we didn't buy Scott's business from him....we were up and running while he was and then the Barrett fiasco went down.....Sorry to hear what he went through but we are back running with BMW this time overseeing things....so far, so good
