I agree with you that this is the risk factor I would think that a CH deal is not that much in a cheaper price for the Carb but to have a discount on some accessories when buying one.
its a nice way for them to still get the profit on the carb and if somebody wants a few bits more they get the more volume without that they have to suffer to much on their margin yet the buyer has a discount for the small bits and bobs he might order (every body wins).

I'm sure some people would prefer the billet float bowl, or want an adjustable power jet.
Is my life going to change ether way? No. If someone is considering the APT or Lectron or any other carb I would hope they would read all the forums and info out there and decide what works best for their needs. I ride tighter woods on a 125 / 165. If your racing dez on a WR300 your results are for sure going to be different. Like any product, do your research, see if it seems like money you want to part with and go for it. All I am doing with these reviews is giving MY opinion, on MY bike in MY riding conditions for ME. Nothing more. Just want to make that 100% clear as I see some posts on other forums that seems like a "carb war" is brewing and I think everyone is a winner we just need to get info and decide what works for us. For a lot of people $300 to gain some throttle response is not money well spent. For others it is everything. Sorry for the semi rant. All I want to do is... Ride More.
. We'll see.....
