If you're a racer and competitive in your class Husky Bucks level the resale disparity a good bit. I think many riders go for the two years of contigency eligibility. fury1 is going new bike in one. I know riders who have paid for all OEM parts and bought a new bike with selling old one and their Husky Bucks. Scotty Wolfersberger has been the "King of Husky Bucks" in the ECEA.
