  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

They are coming out soon :)

Public poll. What color will you buy? Natural/Red/white/black?

Note the 'Red' is not the Husqvarna red.

Keep in mind that over the years several people that know these things have been stating many accolades regarding the quality of the Aqualine tanks.

LINK $499 - Capacity: 16 litres or 4.22 Gallons

2008 & 2009: TE250

2008 through 2010: TE310, TE/SM450, TE/SM510

The colors in the pictures are for reference only.

Tough call!

The white is nice, but will look like crap in no time. The black is black and the red is a bit too bright.

I'd got with the white, but I forget now, how does the low part of the tank manage to get to the injection pump. It looks low.

No "vintage" 04's either. ;)

I know natural (see-through) tanks are practical and popular, but I'd snag any tank that retained the factory bodywork and didn't look like a blister about to bust. These do look pretty good though.

I voted BLK because thats what I WOULD get if I were to get one. These are just too big for me. I went with the IMS yesterday. I'd really like 2.5-3 gal that holds the factory shrouds. That 2011 TE310 is looking awful good to me.

If you look at the pic on the bike it should be fine for a steering damper.
Fuel injection comes with pickup hoses that run down into each cavity to suck fuel.

Doesnt matter what colour you buy, with such a large tank there all going to look dodgey
after 12 months :)

Silicon on your old shrouds to make it look pretty :)

That is interesting, I wonder how they accomplished that? The stock Husky fuel pump did not have any pickup hoses that I noticed when I had mine apart. Does the tank come with a different pump?:excuseme:

Yeah, wondering if it's that simple a fix (if indeed pickup hoses are a simple matter) we could do it to get the last .3 gal out of the IMS.

The wings will empty as described, possibly with a pulse pump similar to the one used in the Yam WR250R 4t tank.

You dont need to attach tank panels as the tank has the tank panel and rad panel shapes moulded in, just get some perforated decals made up to fix to the tank like you would your panels!

I prefer translucent but it may have to be white... just spoke to them and Translucent it is :)

Will the low level idiot light still function or am I the idiot?

Don't know. They contacted me and asked to find out what colors people may want so they could get the desired colors made. That is all I know.

Probably as it is a level indicator built into the pump but it might mean that you are half way down the tank instead of 5 miles from empty...:busted:

They've been saying that for a loooong time. Since before the 630 even came into existence. I don't put much stock in what they say anymore.
