I just stopped by Woodys Wheel Works and talked to Zach. He was able to confirm that the KTM cush hub, stock 640 or RAD billet, will work for the Husky 610. Going with a 640 stock hub saves about $150 over the billet. Since I don't know which husky rear wheels work with each other I'll let someone else tell us if this information will cross over to other models.
Back story: I had a KTM525 and the hub started to fail......... common thing with the KTM's especially if they're dual sported or street ridden. The solution was the RAD billet hub with superlacing..... yup quite pricey. But it was the week before a trip to Moab so it had to happen. A couple of years later I wasn't about to let the wheel go with the bike when I sold it.... so I wondered if it would work for the Husky.
I checked with Zach and he was able to confirm that it would work with the Husky but would need two things. New bearings so that the I.D. would fit the Husky axle, and new spacers. I've been running it like that for 3 years and it's been solid.
