• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

norm did you mark it? You need to show the guys here how to mark..... I've tried and they suck.... you should be able to see a marking from the last one... looks like you did some good trail cutting too.....

odd they start 3 at a time for a special test. I do a lot of ISDE's and they always run you one at a time.
Kelly,
This is an AMA Start/Restart Format Enduro, not ISDE Qualifier Format, so we usually have 4 on a row. National Enduros run 5 on row.

Ron, I'm trail boss on this section and myself and a good crew work it. I was taught to spot your next arrow, when you're done stapling the one you're doing. We also arrow on bikes, it seems to work better than walking. I already have plans for more trail next year!

Still watching this but I can say whoever is under that cam seems to be a clutch-hog :0)

That start looks like the riders are pinched in there but I'm guessing the camera is giving the starting grid that look ..

Looked like at that 1st mud bog, he could have made a pass on that front guy but did not and got passed instead ... That's racing and you don't get much rest time unless you wanna get passed ...

Ray,
The guy he could have passed is a very good ECEA AA Jarod Kulp, 3rd last year. He saw the good line and Craig got sucked right into the rut. He might of kept him in sight, but wouldn't have passed him... not happening, unless Jarod falls down.

I see your point ... With all our racing here, while still in the gate, we just about know the finishing order unless a crash happens or some other event stops a top guy ...

Seems this rider is getting more and more winded as the race goes on ... That moment at the ~8:40 marked looked almost gentle ... Then ~20 seconds later, he has a new attitude :)
