• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I hate to do this with the bike this dirty but being is freezing and I live in Charleston WV. You know the place with poisoned water. I don't have enough water to wash the bike and the wife so the bike suffers.IMG_20140203_173512_614.jpg

One on. Not overly impressed with the whole band clamp setup. Real PITA to line up and get a bolt through. Found that a zip tie helped to get bolt and nut started. They are a coup inches long than the stock units.IMG_20140203_193233_215.jpg IMG_20140203_193219_066.jpg

those cans are awesome, but i don't like the length. I want to order a single set up, but want to cut them down an inch or three, since you have them, do you see where that's possible? thinking the pipe just before the can, cut an inch at least from there, might have to weld on the spring hook loops back on, but whatever. thoughts?

If you were to cut the connecting tube you would need shorter springs. Will look when I am home but I think you're stuck with the length.

I just checked GPR's site, their videos have pretty good sound.

Do you like the change in sound over stock?

It has a lot better sound but I'm not crazy about the setup. Would be nice if they welded a tab instead of the cheesy band mount. It's not a bike specific can they just give you adapters to make it work. They have another type for this bike don't know if it is the same.

I am happy with them for the price though.
