• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

I knew I should have put that smiley face in that last post. One thing Marine Corps boot camp teaches you is that it takes much more than that to get under your skin. Come to think of it, being old has taught me that also:lol:. Coffee, it is good, I was just giving you a hard time.

Kelly, sorry for muddying up your post, just trying to keep fellow members informed, then realized after I posted which thread I was in. At least you get a bump out of it.

I am still waiting for Aqualine to come out with a tank that will hopefully work with my Motosportz damper, the stock tank just doesn't carry enough fuel for the way I ride. Ken

So how long is this sale going on Kelly? I'm on the fence. The deal isn't sweet enough for me to impulse buy, but it's still pretty stinkin sweet!! :applause:

Mmmmm the call of the wild husaberg!:thumbsup: I have a tad bit of buyers remorse for not buying a 'berg 390... but I'm perfectly happy with my Husky.

I don't know how long Kelly is intending to run this promotional but if I didn't already have one I would be on this like white on rice.:applause:

No one can but worth buying anyway. I spent 200 miles on a 390 Berg and still dream about it. :D

I've never had a damper myself... although my when I asked my bike mentor about which to spend $$'s on first stabilizer or susp revalve his answer was "I don't ride without a stabilizer."....

On a very lightwieght bike that you are bouncing over and around things at very slow speeds you may want minimal damping but on aheavier bike at moderately fast speeds they really help make the wrestling match between you and the bars easier. Thats why I really like Kelly's damper because it is so easily adjustable on the fly for whatever situation you encounter.:thumbsup:
Just my opinion, YMMV.
 
i ride with some veterans and one of them put one on his ktm 550 2stroke and he said it was the best thing he's ever done.
 
Damper and 3 gal tank compatability?

I have an '08 TE510 and I'd like to upgrade it with a Motosportz damper and a 3 gal IMS tank. Does anyone know if they are compatible? I'd like to take advantage of this deal if they are.
