• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

With RD and RC both involved with it's development blaming the RMZ is not an option IMO
That is old news...technology marches on.
A real pro knows how to bring the bike to the finish line while working with the strengths and weaknesses of the machine. Win or crash is the strategy of 125 amateurs the world over ...

Dammit John! You beat me to it! :D

I predict he'll be blaming the Suzi about halfway through the season.

True... we all must ride our bikes as no machine is perfect .. You gotta do what you gotta do to finish a race or ride ... Riders finish races with out brakes, clutches, gears ....

PS .. Stew never blamed his bike in the past ... The wanna bees on the sidelines did enough of that ...

Getting canned from his last ride (or whatever) might have been a wake up call for him ... Maybe he can get all the distractions out of his way and just ride ... Not alot of competition out there for him since RV2 will not be there ...

It is a little interesting he is gonna run the MX races ... He quit this stuff in 08 ... Never raced it again because he made too much money in sx? ... Some of those yrs were RC less so he most likely could have a won a few titles but chose not to ride ...

Is he back to win a title that he did not want just last yr or does he see the writing on the wall, or just needs the money and is slumming it in MX racing ... Maybe this is PR work (along with MXdn) for his next hit TV show? He really needs to groom his somewhat lack luster 2012 image ... Stew does it all with out even trying ... and I hope he does well for the latter 1/2 of 012 ..

Yellow bikes look just like blue bikes when the rubber side is up...I expect more of the same from JS7.

In the somewhat distant past, his outdoor crashes were pretty spectacular ... I doubt he can keep up his sx crash-per-race-average and expect to ride the entire season ...

I think he will do better, I don't think the "everyone is equal team atmosphere at JGR" suited him.
With so many guys injured he won't have as much competition to push him past his limit.

I wish the best for him and hope the bike works better to his needs and we get some fantastic racing out of it.

I think he will do better on the yellow bike myself. I feel at their speed any doubts leads to a crash and he just didn't look the same on the blue bike to me for whatever reason. I wish them all good health.

Dungey will just hang back and force JS to ride beyond his skill and crash. Then RD will swoop in for the win.

lol ... That is RV2 style ... RD is fast but he ain't no RV2 ...I'm sure js7 knows this ...

Stew can crash this title away for sure but even after laying off 3 yrs, he can handle this crowd .... With the exception of RD5 ....
