• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

stock case saver guard(has been taken care of)

Just stopped over a friends house today,he has a new 09 TE450 sitting in the garage, has just over 82 miles on his, sort of at the same point I was.I told him what happened to mine and he took the guard off and is buying another after market one to replace the stock case saver guard.I'm still hoping for some kind of satisfaction from Husqvarna.

Well it's going on 2 weeks now that the bike has been sitting in the service area waiting for a reply from HNA.I guess they must have a lot of warranty claims to review.I'm still hoping for a total fix on something that should have never happened.I've never,I repeat never had an issue with BMW honoring their warranty. In fact the abs system on my K1200RS was out of warranty and they replaced/repaired that with no questions asked and said if there was any problems with it from then on it would be taken care of.Just an update

:cheers:I just got off the phone with the dealership FBF and they are doing the whole 9 yards,I am so glad that I called FBF and asked them to help me.Talk about a dealer ship going out of their way to help someone. That is differance between a great dealership and one that sells the brand you are looking for,the extra mile after the sale.

:thumbsup:Thanks Fast By Ferracci:applause:

Will do,their service manager is the man.He is the one who said can you bring it up and let me take a look at it,and I'll see what I can do.

The bike is done

:applause:I'm picking up the bike tomorrow morningTHANK YOU FAST BY FERRACCI.I can't say enough good things about the SERVICE I'VE GOTTEN THEREThey are worth the drive and stand out in after the sale service.
