• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Super sale on the 144 kit for 125's

That's a great deal!

Does anyone know for sure that these will not work on a pre 08 bike?

The info from husky says 08 and up. I think that's is when the cylinder changed. But who knows, it might. :excuseme:

Well I am going to have to get one just to have a spare. I mean you can't be down just because your scoot is waiting for a re-sleave.:excuseme: My 360 is a great bike but it will beat the living crap out of you in the rocks and down fall. It just has toooooo much bottom for really tight tough running. So I will sign up as soon as they are available Kelly. I was waffling at the $850 price but at $725 I can't pass it up. You guys need to know I have everything needed to keep my 360 running at least another 10 years and my nephew got 3 large boxes of spares for my WR 250 when he bought it. So this is right in line with my ability to waste money on being prepared for the worst that rarely happens.

argh, wish they fit my 04 cr125. As is it'd cost me $650 + for parts/boring/replating, and about 2 weeks down time.

It should bolt right on an '04.

I have an extra 125 cylinder you can buy and we'll send our kits in together to EG.

Does anyone know if it is a new cast 144 piston or just a heavier forged 125 piston with 2mm extra aluminum on it like the Weisco pistons?

Can you please post stuff like this outside the Motosportz forum. I really don't have a huge issue with it but as I am a paying sponsor here and this is the Motosportz section selling someone a cylinder and suggesting the EG kit where I am posting a 144 kit sale is a little odd.

I'm not making much on this kit and slashed prices to help husky bro out. I do understand the EG kit is very good as well. So, not an issue just does not belong here.

Thanks,
Kelly

hey all...i think its reeeeeeeally unfair that i cant find any bigbore kits here in the U.K :(
i have an 04 husky sm 125 and my friends ride a Cagiva Mito and an Gilera SC125 and a Derbi GPR 125.
Naturaly my bike eats them at lights and acceleration but they have top ends nearly and over 100mph.
i dont want to do that kind kind of speed (yet) but i would like a bigger bore so i can get a bit more from the engine and be able to cruise at higher speeds at lower revs ( short-haul motorway use).

Do you know of anyone that can supply me a BBK or point me in the right direction??

Thanks in advance

Try Huskysports in the UK, they should be able to get you one.
