  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

TE 310 Clutch Slave Cylinder guard

HUSQVNA

Husqvarna
AA Class
Does anyone have a line on a guard that will protect the slave cylinder for the TE 310? I swear I saw one somewhere, but do ya think I can find that link again?! Thank you!

Doh! And of course they're out of stock. I'll make the call though. Thank you!! Exactly what I was looking for.

FYI, as of 5/20/09, sounds like the case savers will likely be available within the next 2 weeks. Worth the wait for this rock hopper!

Yep, sorry. The case savers are currently out of stock. We are finishing up a run of them as we speak though. Should be plenty to go around for quite some time with this run. I'll post up in the 7602 forum when they are done.

I'm finishing up this next run of case savers right now. They should be available in the next week or so.

Case savers and Oil filter covers arrived last friday afternoon. Back orders will be shipped today. Thanks for the patience.

Just mounted it up today. Man, it's a work of art, and really stout. If you don't have one of these guys, you REALLY need one! Very impressed...

After just buying a new slave I sure want to protect it. It's insane how expensive they are for such a small amount of metal and rubber...

Isnt' that the truth. I've put just about EVERY guard known to man on my bike as a preventative for that very reason. Cost a bunch up front, but hope the day wont' come when I'm sitting trail side saying "if only I'd spendt that $30 on a guard"! Cheap insurance for a lot of piece of mind, not to mention the BLING factor!
