• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

TE 310 Fork Seals

just noticed my right fork seal has started to leak ,450k on clock .Have removed boot to see whether crap had got in side and found it clean as .Anyway have given the seal the feeler guage treatment to see whether this will help.

rusty nuts if you get a chance take wheel out and push and pull forwards and back on fork at axle end to see how much movement in fork bushes. My left has a lot and always leaks but right has very little and doesn't leak, re my above comments for thoughts on matter.

Hi all, I did the above mentioned fork modification (machine and resleeve where the lower bushing sits and replace bushes ) this took out the play in forks and now the new double lip seal can seal and does . for more info read more detailed explanation in previous post.

Yep it has been musical forks for the Huskies for the last few years ... My seals on my 08 TXC250 (50mm "Marzocchi Shivers") have been through plenty and only leaked when mud got in them and cleaning them fixed that issue ... I'm running original seals to date with 500 hrs on one of them ...

I have a new leftover wr250 with 50mm shivers and about 25 hrs . Last week one fork was leaking pretty good. tried the 35mm film and still leaked , but AFTER the next woods ride it stopped , so I guess it was a piece of dirt , well at least i'm not alone in this situation
