• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

My brother picked up my 14 TE300 since I'm out injuried....

He threw a 14 front sprocket on and changed the jetting a little leaner (35 pilot, NOZJ top clip, 162 main)....

After this ride he took the rear shock off and revalved it to soften the low speed compression.....

This ride is on Beer Bottle Pass in Jean, NV.... Very loose with hard pack below....

try it now I forgot to hit publish lol.... no thats my silly ass brother checking to make sure its on

Works now and BeerBottle Pass sounds like a place I should be or re-invent over here ... You said you had an injury?

That bike sounds like it REVs quicker and cleaner than my 250 st bike ...

I know Im really obsessed and sick at how much I love this s%&t, thanks for posting Ron regards to your Bro glad the 3 honey is getting used while recover. The Beta 300RR is great choice, it carburates better than the KTM/Husky engine right out of the box.

Obsessed is probably ok as long as no ~bad side effects such as lose of job, lose of family, negative bank account, or some other lose along these lines are occurring due to your bike or riding the bike...

Its a really good bike.... after a revalve its a completely different machine....

You know KTMs have always been kinda funny when it comes to jetting.... different styles requiring totally different jetting.... all the way back to the late 90s it was a pain....

and riding motorcycles can make you a millionare.... oh wait thats if you started a billionare.... lol

Same loop.... 90 seconds faster over the 8.8 mile loop that takes about 33 minutes....

He took the FC stack and removed the mid valving and shimmed it

We went back to stock stuff.... on the edge of the moving to the next leaner needle but it is close to spot on.... no bog, no blubber, no drool..... its really lean which both of us like because we tend to ride in the low RPMs and use the torque.... also changed the gearing to a 14/50 and still go to a 14/48.... the problem with stock gearing is in the loose (which everything is in NV) and deep sand 1st gear is not usable....
