Edit - Then I ask myself, Does HVNA have the solution and avoids to acknowledge due to cost of a recall? Why the New Main Wire harness upgrades in newer models. What Year did the problem stop? What were the changes to resolve the problem? This only a 2011 problem? 2013 models have this same issues?
Wow Desertyucca, what a response. I'm not sure whether the issues are EMI related or not, I would expect though that the Husky engineer's would have pre-empted or at least know of such issues if EMI was in fact a probable cause, a shielded cable for the TPS sensor cables would be a likely simple fix at the very least. All I can say is that my bike, a TE511 2013 has and still does have intermittent issues. Lately I believe I have reduced reoccurrence a little more by adjusting the air by-pass screw and fine adjusting my JD, but they are still there. Seems to be more prevalent for me when coming off a steep decline for some reason, worst possible times just when you need a bit of throttle, then you find yourself nearly over the handle bars. My local Husky dealer wasn't aware of the Map III upgrade, I haven't enquired since they stated they had no luck in finding out more from Husqvarna.
