• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

TE610 seat or gel pad suggestions

anyone come across a good gel seat pad to use for long trips or a replacement seat brand name you suggest? If you wouldn't mind sharing a brand name or website I would appreciate it. i like my stock seat for short trail rides but looking for ideas for long multi day rides that might offer some relief. Thanks again for any help!

I have a SeatConcepts on my TE610 - they sent me a new foam and cover, which I installed on the stock seat pan (you remove the stock cover and foam, then staple-gun on the new). Works well. I also have an AirHawk Cruiser Pillion (9x11), which I use when I am going on an extended motorway trip. Taken together, they definitely extend the amount of time I can comfortably go between stops on the motorway. If the road is curvy, I do fine with just the SeatConcepts.

I have an airhawk pillion pad I used till I got my seat concepts.
This is the good quality airhawk not the cheaper airhawk 2
$95 shipped?

Seatconcepts.com on all three huskies!

Love em!

Do they do a seat for the 630 that is not quite as wide (leaning closer to stock width) and taller? Taller is what I'm really after. I looked at their site and it doesn't appear so. I sure don't mind reaching out to them, but thought I'd ask here also.

They'll do anything you want. Their standard 630 seat is still stock width in the front half, but roughly stock height. They've even made step seats.
